Youth & Discipleship
Our youth ministry aims to reverse negative influences by offering a new hope through our Savior Jesus Christ. We teach young people who they are created to be in Christ and encouraging them to stand out from the world and move forward into all that God has planned for their lives.
It is our effort to evangelize our community. We have several Community Outings each year, home visits, prayer walks etc. Each summer we conduct a Band Camp to enable local children to develop their musical skills. We also work with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Dream Center, an local evangelism community ministry that meet weekly
Music
We have an active music department, consisting of instrumentalists, soloists, and praise dancers. Each 3rd Sunday, our Youth Ensemble leads us in worship. On 4th Sundays, our Woodwind Ensemble leads Praise and Worship services. We also perform at weddings, banquets, and special services.
We believe in the power of prayer (Luke 18:1). Our prayer services: 1st & 3rd Fridays @ 7:30pm and Sundays @ 9am. Join the Church of God prayer group @ projectpray.org. If you need special prayer contact us @ 980-224-2513.
In a changing world, we endeavor to use this evolution to encourage the body of Christ to be steadfast in faith. The mission of our Men's Discipleship department is to help men grow in Christ. Our belief is that in order to be a true man you must be godly (1 Kings 2:2-3). We hope that you would join us in our efforts to see God's definition of what a man is become the world's norm.
